| Speaker Cables/Interconnects: | Jon Risch CC89259 - exact recipe. ChrisVH IC - using XLO copper with 2 30 ga signal wire and 1 26 ga return wire. |
| Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): | PS Audio Ultimate Outlet High Current - Source and Amp connected. ChrisVH Flavor 1 power cords from wall to UO, UO to Amp. |
| Tweaks: | None outside of cables so far. Planning on adding some Herbie's footers under the amp and source. Plan on building some better speaker stands with wood and PVC. Going to switch to the new ChrisVH power cables soon and probably try silver ICs. |
| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classic Rock, Prog Rock, Art Rock, Jazz, Jazzy Hip-Hop, Blues, Reggae. Open to anything though. Always trying to find new, interesting music to listen to. |
| System Goals/Comments: | I just like something that sounds nice and I enjoy listening to. I also like to tweak things a little. I like to get the most bang for my buck. Makes building a system more fun. |
| System Strengths: | Very dynamic sound. I enjoy it. |
| System Weaknesses: | The crappy tubes, poor stands,absense of isolation, lack of a quality power cable for the source are definite deficiencies. Hopefully I will remedy these in the near future. |
| Video/HT System: Integrated | |
| Comments on HT System: | I use my 2-channel for home theater with a crappy 20" TV. The sound rivals that of HT systems I have heard in the $3000-4000. I can't bring myself to buy an expensive TV or surround sound. But if someone wants to donate, please feel free ;) |
