Would like to try tube preamp and take the Stratos to Extreme mono blocks
System Strengths: I have been building this system over the years because I wanted a audio system I never had or could afford. I have always enjoyed good sounding music and I feel this system does a pretty fair job of doing that.

It will always be an evolving system living with what I have and making changes as money allows. I purchased the Martin Logan Request speaker because I fell in love with the sound. The speakers deliver a sound that you need to hear to be believed. Simply stunning.
The Rotel CD player is a best buy in a CD play back system for $700.00 and produces wonderful music. I am a vinyl guy but some things you can't get in vinyl and this CDP does the job. I can see a DAC in my future if it will improve the sound from the CDP. Looking at the Musical Fidelity DAC.

This is a music system, in my opinion; you can sit and listen to for hours on end. All you need to do is find the vinyl, put it on, sit back, and enjoy every detailed note.

Right now it sound great but as with all thing it can be improved and I will continue my quest

System Weaknesses: Go to stratos mono extreme's perhaps a tube preamp
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: RCA 27' (small room)
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Yamaha RX V530 Dolby Digital DTS. A good reciever for the speaker I drive. 75 watts per channel at 8 ohms is not bad. Yamaha in MHO makes very good HT receivers for the money.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Polk S10 mains, Polk CS 250S center, Polk RT 3 Rear, KSW 10 Sub
Sources (DVD/VCR): Yamaha DVD Panasonic VCR
Other HT Gear: Audioquest interconnects and monster speaker wire
Comments on HT System: It is good system to view movies and that is its sole purpose. I could improve it a lot but would need a bigger room first and more money
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Astronomy, Photography, Wood working,

Edit My System
