Amplifier: | NAD C-370 integrated |
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | None |
Speakers: | Fried A/6 on factory (stock) spikes, internal damping (foam) removed and replaced with polyfill per Ronnie Thackery @ Carolina Audio. Rewired with exotic silver wire by former owner. |
Sources: | |
CD Player/DAC: | Pioneer DV-353 with 3 DIY roller block isolation supports using chromium steel ball bearings on chrome races. |
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.: | |
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: | CAT 5e Plenum (Home Depot $0.22/lf) inside 1/4" poly tubing per Ronnie Thackery - Carolina Audio; DIY CAT 5 single twisted pair inside 1/4" poly tube & RS gold RCA connectors analog interconnects; AudioQuest Python preamp jumpers replaced stock "U" jumpers. |
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): | Power Sentry surge suppressor |
Tweaks: | Speaker cable just run as is - not braided at all - sounds great. Wired with brown & blue; green and orange twisted pairs together. Ronnie Thackery's suggestions have been very helpful in coming much closer to the illusion of real music being played in front of me. |
