Music Used (Genre/Selections): | classical - especially Baroqu and 20th century British(Holst , Vaugh Williams), Folk - especially British Isles(love Celtic, early Clannad, Pentangle) |
System Goals/Comments: | reproduction, monitor quality - if the software sucks, it should sound lousy(if I like the music I'll listen anyways), but great recordings should blow you away occasionally. Dynamics, dynamics, dynamics - changes in loudness big and smal should be as accurate as possible(dynamics has little to do with loudness, undynamic systems can play loud). |
System Strengths: | low colouration, wide bandwidth, exciting dynamics |
System Weaknesses: | little forward on lousy software(a proce you pay for accuracy) |
Video/HT System: None | |
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: | retired(temporary?), love wine, Scotch, Fomula I |
