Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Traditional and progressive bluegrass, jazzgrass, classic rock, folk, blues, some country and classical. |
System Goals/Comments: | "They are here" as opposed to "you are there". I don't believe its feasible to recreate the experience of being in a concert hall in my room (at least not within my budget), so I'd like get it to the point where I can imagine a solo singer playing an acoustic guitar in my living room. |
System Strengths: | Attack and decay of acoustic intruments getting there. Mids and highs very good. easy to listen too, non-fatigueing. |
System Weaknesses: | A little lacking in detail. In other words its a little soft sounding. I prefer this. Soundstage size. I'm pretty sure this is due to the set up and room. Basically I'm happy enough with it that I've lost interest in messing with it for the moment. |
