Speakers: Def Tech 2004 Full Range 20hz Tight bass,accurate mids and highs,Great Floating imaging, depth,and Huge soundstage ,Fronts Tilted upward a bit on Brass cones.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Xindak SCD-2 SACD/CD 2 channel Tube Player.Amperex 7308PQ Tubes.True Balanced and SE varible outs.No nasty op amps in output stage.Remote & headphone jack.Has now been lightly modded by Dan at modwright.com.Easily competive with players in the 3K range.
Turntable/Phono Stage: Technics SL-1301.Home version of 1200.Music Reference RM5-MKIII used as Phono pre.

Speaker Cables/Interconnects: AZ Satori's & AZ MatrixII xlr's.CDP > Pre > Amp

Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Progressive Rock,Electronica,Psychedlic,Blues/Rock that jams,pre mid 60's jazz,50's and 60's oldies and classical.
System Goals/Comments: To get as close as possible to analog reproduction with SACD/CD's and upgrade my TT.
System Strengths: A natural accurate detailed well balanced presentation.
System Weaknesses: TT needs upgrading 1st.Also isolation,PC's, rack etc.Will it ever end?Of course not !!
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Mitsubisi 25' Monitor
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Parasound AVC-1800.Not used with 2 channel playback.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Def Tech Center 2002 and surrounds BPX-2
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony NS500 SACD/DVD.HT Truthlink IC's to processor and MR Amps.
Other HT Gear: 2 Music Reference RM-10 Amps.1 in Mono for center.Other in stereo for rear.
Comments on HT System: Designed entirely for Surround Music.SACD and DVD Concerts.Tube surround is very good.An understatement!
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Live Music,I play guitar and keys and have a small home recording studio.I\\\'m a 58 yrs young kid.Playing music and collecting music since I was 8 yrs old.Culled to around 3000 Titles now.Not counting old 45\\\'s and cassettes.
