System Goals/Comments: | Flexible HiFi system that can do the big rock sound as well as jazz and acoustic. Power, accuracy and warmth are desired. |
System Strengths: | Clean, powerful and accurate. Good imaging. A joy to listen to. Didn't spend big money. The Luxman has outstanding current to drive the Paradigm's even with their impedance dip. Mapleshade wires gave big gains in resolution and fine detail. |
System Weaknesses: | Room layout challenges in speaker placement, though the big Paradigms do well on dispersion. Can rearrange easily for listening sessions. Still need to upgrade phono stage, A/C supply. |
Video/HT System: None |
