Music Used (Genre/Selections): jazz / blues / classical /rock-- I am a Tom Waites junkie & enjoy Holly Cole & other good female jazz artists
System Goals/Comments: Musicality, low level resolution, soundstaging.Constant upgrading using diy components as much as possible.
System Strengths: Good resolution & soundstaging but have settled on the two channel to make music & the h/t to make lots of noise
System Weaknesses: limits determined funding requirements versus diminishing returns!!
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: 3M mp8030 low res lcd proj 120' fixed screen
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: technics 930 ht receiver + supplimentry amplification
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): various diy
Sources (DVD/VCR): cheapo dvd system used as transport for dvd only /jvc hi-fi vcr
Comments on HT System: I hook up all the other amps for a good 1kw or so of noise.
