Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): . Classical (60%): Chamber music, choir, piano, symphony

. Jazz (39.9%): vocals, piano, acoustic

. New Age (0.1%)

System Goals/Comments: . My sub is always online, but the volume is 'off' unless necessary. My Maggies are simply great (according to me) and can hold themselves up to whatever are fed by my sources (i.e. clasical & jazz only, please).

. My philosophy: MUSIC IS ALL THAT MATTERS... but it all depends on what type/kind of music that is ;-)

. poor recordings/materials will not sound good, they are simply poor; good recordings/materials will sound as they are. So, buy good softwares and don't kid yourself that your system will make magic.

System Strengths: . Mids & highs are very natural (according to my ears)
. MF A324 DAC is 'new life' to an ageing technology (20bit max resolution for Wadia 6)and gave more body & meaning to an awful sounding DVD player-used-for-audio-only.
. Even with the limited space I have, soundstage is still wide & deep, and music is "3D"
System Weaknesses: . The Maggies' frame support is weak and needs to be replaced.
. The DVD player used for audio is a very weak link... sounds awful, but the MF A324 DAC introduced new life into that player!
Video/HT System: Separate

Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Pro-logic

. Aiwa DVD

. Samsung VCD

. Sony LD

Comments on HT System: . I am not a video buff so have not really concentrated on strenghtening this sytem, however, I may soon upgrade the electronics by going separate amps for F+C+R+Sub...soon...
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: . teaching bible, sport shooting, photography, travelling, reading books

. having friends around talking \'stuffs\' & listening to music we love.
