System Goals/Comments: | This system is hard to beat, as is, but VAC Ren mono 140 watts 300B tube amps would be a nice upgrade, but who has the 40K? |
System Strengths: | More integrated than the RS 1B, simple design, little power drives the 88 dB at 1/1 ribbons to room filling sound. |
System Weaknesses: | The full line source IRS is better, as are my own phase 3 Infinity design. Lots of people prefer newer designs, this is good. |
