Room Size (LxWxH): 21.5 x 14.2 x 8.8
Room Comments/Treatments: Renting makes too much treatment difficult, but thick plaster walls with carpet and large furniture provides a pretty good balance.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): I prefer acoustic singer-songwriter but i listen to everything from pop to opera, classical to country, and rap to jazz... i like most everything with exception of techno and heavy/death metal
System Goals/Comments: To provide a 'you are there' experience. I really enjoy two channel music and my wife loves home theater...my system is a marriage of the two.
System Strengths: It provided a nice sonic blend, that is dynamic and realistic for both home theater and two channel sound.
System Weaknesses: Not that the system is perfect but for the money it more than holds it own. I would like a room that is sealed of from the rest of our house with some level of acoustical treatment.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: A basic 27'' tv for cable and a motorized DaLite screen and a Sanyo PLV-60HT
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: B&K Reference 30 + above two channel system
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): (mains) B&W 802N, (center) B&W HTM1, (rears) B&W CDM1se, (ex-rears) Klipsch ss5, (subwoofer) Paradigm Servo-15
Sources (DVD/VCR): Panasonic RP-91 and a cheap sanyo vcr that is rarely use
Other HT Gear: Monster HTS-2000 power conditioner for the projector
Comments on HT System: Its sure alot better than our local movie theater...my wife would sure like one of those cool popcorn machines
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: cycling & nordic and telemark skiing
