Amplifier: Tecjnics SA-200
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): None
Speakers: KLH Model 20's
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Yamaha CDC-98
Turntable/Phono Stage: Technics SL-1300 / Grado XT+
Other Source(s): Technics M234X Cassette
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Monster Cable speaker wires with RCA termination for the speakers. Mid grade department store interconnects
Tweaks: Home made lamp cord antenna. Plans found on the internet. Works great.
Room Size (LxWxH): 13 x 11 x 8
Room Comments/Treatments: Large, flat listening area, ie. water bed.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): I am having a lot of fun picking up vinyl at the thrift shops. Rock / Pop from the late 60's through the decline of vinyl. :(
System Goals/Comments: Again the system goals were the best sound for minimal outlay.
System Strengths: I know you can mix and match brands and come out with great stuff but I somehow managed to collect a Technics system and they play together very nicely. KLH 20's sound great, I'd like to get some 17's.
System Weaknesses: I wish the room was larger to leave some sitting area so I could go listen more.
Video/HT System: None
