Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): jazz, W. classical, Indian classical, blues, R&B
System Goals/Comments: detail w/o listening fatigue, accuracy, timbre, resolution of complex passages
System Strengths: More or less does the above. Especially good for jazz -- gets dynamics right and timbres of bass and horns. The YBA-Reynaud match is as good as people (including JMR himself) say.

The addition of the Bifrost has given much better detail and timbre. So far it is not fatiguing.
System Weaknesses: For some tastes the system would be too polite and laid-back. The character of music reproduction is much dependent on the Arcam's DAC, which is not built for visceral slam. Quality of recordings matters. System adds no harshness, but does not euphonize or glamorize either.
Video/HT System: None
TV/Projector: Panasonic
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: NAD 304
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Krix Equinox
Sources (DVD/VCR): Pioneer DV-343
Comments on HT System: DV-343 is surprisingly good for CD playback. Not audiophile-quality, but balanced and very listenable.
