System Goals/Comments: | Just started buying new equipment after 10 years of living with Adcom GFA 555, GTP 500, and a lousy Kenwood CD changer. Because space/family restrictions I am try to build a home theater system that sounds great for audio as well as theater. Also, I don't want it to impose on living space. |
System Strengths: | Hard to say right now. The system sound is already much improved over my Adcom/Kenwood system even with the old speakers. |
System Weaknesses: | Old speakers. Starting to audition replacements. Looking at Joseph Audio RM22si, Soliloquy 5.3, Hales Revelation 3, Dunlavy SM-I and Dynaudio 1.3. Currenlty building Thorsten's X-Cable interconnects. |
Video/HT System:
Integrated |
TV/Projector: | 32" Proscan |
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): | Definitive Technolgy Center, old AR Baby II's for surrounds. Looking for a sub. Probably a Rel Strata III. |
