Amplifier: Balanced Audio Tech VK-200
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Joule Electra LA100-MKIII
Speakers: Vandersteen 3A's
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Sony DVP-7700 (Gotta change this!)
Turntable/Phono Stage: Onkyo CP-1055F (Can't upgrade everything at once!)
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: DH Labs T-14 Biwire (double on lows)
Room Size (LxWxH): 25 x 20 x 8
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Anything that sounds good
System Goals/Comments: Fine tune the upper end.
System Strengths: Wonderful lush midrange and soundstage. Very musical and non fatiguing. Maybe not the most accurate.
System Weaknesses: The Vandersteens are a little layed back in
the upper registers. Hope to remedy this as soon as I get the instructions from Jud Barber on the preamp tweak.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony 27" Trinitron
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Onkyo TX-DS747 Reciever (Front line level out to the Joule preamp)
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Polk CS-350 center. Polk RT-7 surrounds.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony DVP-7700 DVD
Sony HiFi VCR's
Comments on HT System: Barely use the HT portion of the system. I
guess HT is not my thing.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Systems Programmer
