Room Size (LxWxH): 7m x 4m x 2,4m
Room Comments/Treatments: Quite good room. 'natural dampening' with very large and well-filled book shelves.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): No heavy metal, except the Brazilians. No MTV and produced blonds.

Baroque, jazz, all kinds of classical mostly before the second vienna school, especially pianists. Reggae, ska, psychobilly, punk. motown.

Peggy Lee. Björk. Janis. Sly and the family Stone. Herbie Hancock. Artur Schnabel. Wanda Landowska. Pierre Hantai. John Eliot Gardiner. Otto Klemperer. Sergiu Celibidache.

System Goals/Comments:

imho music is a communication device. Its primary function is to transmit different emotions from one people to other. The most important task of the system is to transmit those different emotions as honestly as possible.

System Strengths: Axiom 80's. No crossover, no overall feedback in the amp. Attack, presence and rythmical coherency. Sense of 'being there'. incredible stereoimaging. Old and live recordings, classical music.

Bass reproduction and its natural combining with mids.

Mono reproduction, while listened with only one loudspeaker, in the corner.

System Weaknesses: 'Axiom 80's late night show'. They have a very high air guitar factor. That is sometimes annoying, as if watchin a three-arena-circus instead of listetning music. Suits some music genres slightly better than others. Also, they are hanging judges with poor recordings and associated equipment.

Video/HT System: None
