Black Linn Ittok LV II, Koetsu Signature Black, Linn Karma, and Denon 103D cartridges. Now supplanted by Goldring Lenco GL 75 with OL Rega 250 arm and Koetsu Black cartridge. |

| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | My tastes are very catholic. Apart from Pope John's Greatest Hits I love: Soul; 70's, 80's and 90's rock; funk from every decade; ditto blues and rock and roll; ska, roots reggae and rock steady. About the only music I don't like is regimental marching music, oh and heavy gangster rap. But aren't the two almost identical ? |
| System Goals/Comments: | I like what I have a lot. SET's and super-efficient speakers are certainly the way to go. My next move is a speaker with forward firing and rear firing (at an angle), Lowther-based speakers. |
| System Strengths: | Astonishing speed. I have never heard a faster system. Incredible imaging for an omnidirectional speaker. Instruments just float |
| System Weaknesses: | Occasional abrasive highs and a little lightness in the bass that were recently cured respectively by the Decware Gizmo and most dramatically by the Goldring. |
