System Goals/Comments: Timbral accuracy. Transparency. Air around instruments. Detail to some extent.

Lots of tweaking left to do. Acoustic treamtents. Power cords. Isolation for components. The core system is where I want it for now.
System Strengths: System disappears. BC8s are effortless and speakers disappear in the soundstage. I'm left with music, not a system per se.
System Weaknesses: Mostly related to room treatment. Upgrade to Blue Circles removed the harshness and sibilance I was formerly hearing, but created some new problems with bass.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Sony Wega 20'
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: ARC LS9 (Pre)

Monarchy SM70 Monoblocks (Amps)

Grado Headphone Amp (AC Version)
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Nova Bravo

Comments on HT System: Two-channel HT is the way to go for me. Multichannel effects and earth-shaking bass just don't do much for me.

Headphones are also a good solution. Relatively inexpensive and neighbor friendly.
