System Goals/Comments: | TO HAVE FUN! |
System Strengths: | The Totem's like to rock, provided I'm careful about the midbass woofer displacement. Drums sound especially fun. |
System Weaknesses: | I constantly worry about overextending the tiny woofers on the Totems. I think an active crossover is needed in my future. |
Video/HT System: Integrated | |
TV/Projector: | Proxima Lightbook 30 Only 300 lumens, only SVGA, but also only $250 with $5 bulbs. Projected onto wall above stereo, 120' diagonal with minimal screen door or pixellation. If some material is distorted (pixellated) I am easily annoyed by it and the picture is decreased to about 90'. |
Comments on HT System: | My HT system is not actually for home theater. Rather I have a decent collection of live concert DVDs and was tired of trading off either sound or picture. Now my concerts can be seen with hi-fidelity audio too! |
