Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): I love all types of music; my biggest criteria is that it come from the heart & be honestly performed. That said, some of my favorite artists are the Grateful Dead (with Jerry Garcia, NOT the present version), the San Francisco Symphony, the White Stripes, The Meters, John Coltrane, Wynton Marsalis, New Order, LTJ Bukem..my taste is quite wide..
System Goals/Comments: The greatest degree of transparency & neutrality
System Strengths: The system already has a great deal of transparency & neutrality, though I always feel there is much room for improvement.
System Weaknesses: The object is to get the system & the room to be as transparent & neutral as possible. Better digital front end, possibly something like Spectral or DCS for a more open & neutral window. At the moment, the analog front end wipes the floor with the digital (so what else is new?..)
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Model railroading, home remodeling
