Amplifier: Melody H88 55WPC KT88 based Integrated AMP using Seimens E88CC, Mullard 12AX7, Sylvania VT-231 and JJ KT88's
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): none
Speakers: B&W 805 and 'official' way overpriced B&W stand mounts
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Sony X33ES CDP with Wattgate Mains connection, Sansui TU 717 Tuner with Black Gate Cap upgrades per TCI. Considering OP amp upgrades for this tuna once I get the test results back from my OCD blood tests
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: DIY Bi-Wire speaker cable (10 GA OCF copper wire) and DIY power cords using 10 GA double shielded Proline 300 cable and Wattgate IEC connectors
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Just added a Infinity 'lotsa wattsa' powered sub to the system. Really fleshed out out the system is a recommened step to take if you like 'tube sound' and also listen to R&R
Room Size (LxWxH): 35 x 19 x 9
Room Comments/Treatments: Stupid me speakers are used across the 19ft dim. Upside floors are sans w/w carpet
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): everystuff inc: BB King, Cowboy Junkies Alman Bros,Rollin Stones
System Goals/Comments: Keeps me happy for now until bigger and better comes along
System Strengths: Crystal Clear Mids and Hi's. No remote control for the 30 year old vintage Sansui tuna....price you have to pay for this kind of playback quality I guess
System Weaknesses: wires,wires everywhere
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: JVC 52' rear projection....just installed it ans I'll revisit this section to fill in the blanks soon
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Unemployed
