Note: I haven't bought new speakers, since I bought the KLH-6s back in 1972!

Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Diverse, Obsure, Progressive and Eclectic: Classical (Bach to Stockhausen), late 20th century contemporary music, Funk, R&B, Soul, Gospel, some Jazz (Davis, Don Ellis, Hancock, Purim, Ponty) plus Zappa, Rundgren, Beefheart, Kraftwerk, Beach Boys, etc.
System Goals/Comments: .
System Strengths: For a mid hi-fi system with a mix of vintage and new, the sound is quite good especially from the a/d/s/ L310s combined with the JVC and Panasonic DVD. Great sounding system for relatively cheap and will beat the crap out of any mass-market audio system.
System Weaknesses: Slight distortion with JVC due to deteriorating capacitors.

Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Almost all types of music, Abba to Zappa from Bach to Stockhausen; 20th century contemporary art, popular culture, social history, social documentary.
