System Goals/Comments: | a system that can handle pops, jazz, metals, and a full orchestra. The power and clarity for oratorio as well as contemporary music - constantly upgrading without spending too much of doe. |
System Strengths: | A fast amplification and wide, articulated sound stage. Can handle versatile music genres. |
System Weaknesses: | Orchestral strings sound deserves more natural timbre and a better spatial resonances. Proceed AMP2 is a good dual-mono block but it is a tad old (circa 1994). Just recently though, I got some improvement by changing Maggie to be bi-wired with Kimber 8TC, with a set of under speaker insulation from J1 project composite boards which cost me over $500 for polyester cardboard.. |
