System Goals/Comments: | This system begs for a large venue to perform in! |
System Strengths: | I have a hard time believing just how amazing this 5933 amp sounds. Dead quiet background leaves the sound stage wide open so as to hear every detail, no matter how complex the passage might be. With the speaker sensitivity as high as it is I have nothing but headroom on the amps. So there is absolutely no chance for any clipping. The highs are crystal clear and the textured detail in the bass without any subs can make your gut rumble. The speed and articulation of the amp is as fast as I have ever heard. I owe a major degree of this amps success to Doug Piccard who helped me initial design and later added the incredible front end. |
System Weaknesses: | Not very flashy, as I believe in form over function. This is mostly because my skills and craftsmanship are challenged to a very severe degree. |
