From DAC to pre using Omega Mikro Ebony Active interconnects (older tube style using 56 GA. wire). From Pre to amp using Nordost Valhalla RCA ICs or sometimes Audio Magic Clairvoyant 4-D. Getting ready to try RSA Poiema here too and old reference was original Pure Note Epsilon. Never had anything buy Ebony from DAC to pre though! |

| System Goals/Comments: | always trying to get that *you are at a live performance* feeling of transparency and front row soundstage emphasis |
| System Strengths: | Great midrange vocal clarity w/ huge center-fill realism and very accurate accoustic reproduction. |
| System Weaknesses: | Due to room size could use a little more soundstage depth and w/ only 35 wpc I sometimes think a litle more bass whack! would be nice, that is why I sometimes swap out the power tubes and the Valhalla ICS for the Clairvoyant 4-D. |
