Amplifier: Yamaha CA-2010 Integrated (LPs, CDs)
Lafayette LA 69 mono tube integrated (78s)
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): None
Speakers: Tannoy Mercury M20
Polk Audio Model 5
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Denon DCD-1500II
Turntable/Phono Stage: Thorens TD-126 w/ Stanton 681EEEMkIIs(stereo)
Thorens TD-125 w/ Denon DL-102 (mono)

Also use a Grado 78C for 78s on the 126. Several other carts for the 125, including an AT 440SX, AT110e, Stanton 681EEEMkIIs

Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Only the finest in Radio Shack wires for me!
Room Comments/Treatments: This is our basement workroom, which doubles as my home office. I'm sure the hanging laundry has some interesting acoustical effects on the sound. ;-) Seriously, I sit at my workspace with the speakers about three feet from my ears. It's not a 'parlor' type setting, but it sounds fine from my chair. Bonus -- the spare fridge is only a few feet so I can grab a beer without having to stop listening.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, rock, pop, country, really anything but classical. I really like listening to 78s. Great music on those things once you get the equipment to dig it out. (I also own some Victrolas -- very cool things those are).
System Goals/Comments: Goal = good + inexpensive!

With the exception of the Polks (which I bought in high school in 1982 and still going strong!), everything was picked up 2nd hand (do you know how cool it is to find a pair of freaking Tanoys at a thrift store?!?). The two Thorens and the Lafayette were Ebay items. The Yamaha was a freebie -- buddy of mine was helping his aunt move into a nursing home and she was giving him the stuff. He didn't need the Yammie. The Denon CDP was picked up at a pawn shop.

System Strengths: It's definitely got a vintage sound -- warm and mellow through the Polks, tight and punchy through the Tannoys. The Thorens are ultimately tweakable TTs. The Denon CDP sounds pretty nice. The Yamaha CA-2010 has a great phono stage -- two inputs, one of which has many different impedance settings (as well as MC support).
System Weaknesses: The Denon CDP is sometimes picky about the CDs it wants to spin up. With vintage units, sometimes they need maintenance or some TLC.
Video/HT System: None
