System Goals/Comments: | To extract the maximum information from disks, to provide the most enjoyable listening experience, on a limited budget. |
System Strengths: | Very precise, and very warm with jazz. Female voices can be extraordinary. Shimmering cymbals and strong bass from the Yamahas. This system is spectacular with high performance formats (SACD, XRCD, HDCD) disks |
System Weaknesses: | Would prefer more articulation of separate instruments when playing crescendo symphonic music. Male voices are a trifle hard at times. |
