Amplifier: Ekelund Amplification U-1, all mesh DHT tubes.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Ekelund Amplification PH-1, pure triode phono preamp.
Speakers: Martin Logan CLS IIz, full range pure elctrostatics, with internal component upgrades.

CD Player/DAC: Sonic Fronties SFCD1
Turntable/Phono Stage: MAIN SOURCE: Wilson Benesch ACT 0.5 tonearm, Benz Micro Glider H2, custom designed acrylic turntable with OL Advanced DC motor.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: All TARA Labs Air 1.
Room Size (LxWxH): 4.2m x 3.6 x 8.5ft
Room Comments/Treatments: The room is currently the major limiting factor here. Will be upgrading room size.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Assorted; mainly Jazz, various vocals, some classical, some folk, some pop/rock
System Goals/Comments: To be free of any electronic haze or artiface. To draw the listener into the performance rather than just being blown away by it in typical 'hifi' fashion.
System Strengths: Particularly natural, airiness, microdynamics, speed, and unfatiguing.
System Weaknesses: Maximum SPL - limited by speaker/amp combination.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Panasonic CRT projector, three 8' CRTs, gun scanning run at 16:9
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Ekelund Amplification S-15, tube amplfier
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): custom 2-way monitors
Sources (DVD/VCR): Modified Marantz DVD DV-3200
Comments on HT System: Large CRT projection. Limited maxium brightness but quite film-like otherwise. Pure blacks with great black/grey detail, not possible with LCD. Smooth midtones.
