Amplifier: Kenwood RD-VH7 micro system
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): none
Speakers: Polk Audio RD25i
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Kenwood RD-VH7 micro system integrated CD player
Turntable/Phono Stage: Technics SL-1200MK2 w/Denon DL-160, homebrew phono w/6CG7x3 -- approx. $160 in parts
Other Source(s): Playstation 2 :-P
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: cheap wire ;-)
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): rock, metal, grindcore, experimental electronic, orchestral, Baroque concertos
System Goals/Comments: All this goes to the pawn shop when I buy a house.
System Strengths: The phono tracks much better now and still sounds decent.
System Weaknesses: High end is a bit weak in general, most CDs lack detail and dynamics. Plus it's a Kenwood VH-7...
Video/HT System: None
