System Goals/Comments: | Other then upgrading Speaker Cables probably no other changes. But who knows? |
System Strengths: | Replaced a Sonic Impact T-amp with the Yarland tube amp. Real improvement. Subtantially more Bass, Dynamics and Balance. Real strength of the system is listenability. With the EL84 tube amp and British paper cones, as you can imagine, very easy on the ear with supurb reproduction of vocals. CD's have very much a Vinyl like quality. |
System Weaknesses: | Resolution not quite as high as with Sonic Impact. Other then that the Yarland sounds better to my ear in every area. Won't play super loud with 13wpc and 89db effeciency speakers. Still suprising how well it fills a 24'x17' area. |
