Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Modern Christian music, Jazz, Pop, Classical,
System Goals/Comments: It has to get me to where the music was played / recorded rather than bring the musicians into my living room. When I close my eyes, I would like to be transported to the venue.
System Strengths: Top class dCS, Lamm and Sonus Faber. They are a great match for my tastes

Resolution, Clarity, Soundstage width and depth, lots of air, portrays the emotion of a piece of music brilliantly. It takes me 'there' with most live recordings.

The Passive made a HUGE difference in allowing the quality of the source to come through. The new Lamm preamp has more dynamics and very little loss of transparency compared to the Bent passive.

The PS Audio PPP is brilliant!! Get one.

Very good imaging and depth. With the Lamm it is teaching me alot about listening.
System Weaknesses: A lot of money spent so I am exposed to criticisms. No more remote volume control for the preamp.

Cable mess!!
Video/HT System: Separate

Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Pioneer AX5i Surround Receiver (7.1 100W/ch)

Other HT Gear: Cable TV.

PS Audio P500

PS Audio P300 powers the TV Box and VCR and Cable Box

Lots of AQ HT interconnect cables (analog audio and component video and DVI-D)
Comments on HT System: Entry level HT but HTPC provide great quality video
