Tweaks: Myself!
Room Size (LxWxH): 20 x 15 x 9
Room Comments/Treatments: Carpeted floor and cellulose textured ceilings.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Indie, alternative, rock, jazz, blues, classical, raggae, modern techno, some funk, and most sounds that are fresh and well presented.
System Goals/Comments: I accumulate mostly pre-owned stuff. My muli-purpose goal is to have the best system possible while spending the least amount of money (and even making some along the way by way of investment appreciation), e.g., my minty Cr3020 was bought for $130, my Cizek's for $10, and most of my stuff averaged around $20 per unit with average cosmetics of about 9.5 before cleaning/refurbishing (conservative). Ressurecting as many great vintage pieces as I can before they end up forever gone is goal #2.
System Strengths: Never ending ability to experiment.
System Weaknesses: Too many (particularly room size) but working within my budget.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Samsung 120HZ 46" LCD HDTV(bedroom)
Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD LCD HDTV/Monitor
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Proton 690 Multichannel Television Sound Decoder
Proton 600T Tuner/Preamplifier
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Not a big HT fan.
Sources (DVD/VCR): PS3 Blu-Ray player
Sony DAV-S300 DVD/Home Theatre Surround System
Sony SLV-585HF
Pioneer DV-05 Elite DVD player
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Vintage electronics, free-diving/spearfishing, appreciation of the miracle that is our earth via minimal impact activities like mountainbiking, swimming/diving, hiking/camping, etc.
I install Building Energy Management systems.
