Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Everything from 60's & 70's Rock, Funk, Retro 80's, Rap, Dance, Soundtracks, Classical and Jazz.
System Goals/Comments:	Solid state v Valve SET-best of both worlds reference NOS tubes all round. The late 50's are the best ....
System Strengths:	Outstanding soundstage and extension from top to bottom. Krell sounds like analogue. The EAR 864 Preamp and Marantz CD player work splendidly together and really make CD sound a joy to listen to. The Marantz actually eclipses the Acute CD player by a long shot and it's in the DAC section where it demolishes the Wolfson DAC. The sound of 300B SETs are PURE reference...look nowhere else and listen to no-one else who tries to tell you otherwise.
System Weaknesses:	My tube rolling sickness. Finding the correct combination of PCC88, ECC83 and ECC82 tubes for the EAR units and the 300B SET mono blocks. The 12AX7 and 12AU7 rolling is also fun. The E80CC works exceptionally well in the 12AU7 position. My love and addiction of tube rolling .... I already said that .... :)
