System Goals/Comments: | Thinking of adding another sub in an attempt to smoothen out the bass even more. |
System Strengths: | The most 'musical' system I've heard to date (in my livingroom). Very smooth & detailed. Tonally excellent lows. Accurate non-fatiguing highs. The Audiomat Arpege is a fantastic amp. The Audiomat/Quad/C.E.C. combo is the result of switching-out gear for years until I was finally happy with the sound. |
System Weaknesses: | Although I like the idea of my belt-drive CD transport, I know there are better sources out there. Probably look at switching-out the CDP at some point. My listening room isn't ideal either. Concrete, leather furniture. I suspect I will seriously need to address the acoustics issue with some proper wall treatments. |
