Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): | Monster power conditioner.
|
Tweaks: | Heavy duty speaker stands decoupled from floor and speakers with spikes. Using different types of rubber insulators under all equipment. |
Room Comments/Treatments: | My biggest problem is room with main system is awkwardly shaped with opening to dining room. It's a fairly small home and listening room is also living room. WAF not good for room tweaks!!!!!! |
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | 50's thru 70's rock and roll and older jazz. Also Male and Female vocal groups and singles. Doo Whop. Not really a fan of classical but don't hate it. Like all different types at times. Lately listening to mostly vinyl and music choice on cable. |
System Goals/Comments: | Pretty happy overall for my personal situation. Would like to have a larger place so could have a dedicated listening room, but that probably won't happen. |
System Strengths: | As a whole system seems to be very involving. IT has good detail and a nice even frequency response and seems to do well with all types of music or TV |
System Weaknesses: | Because of the size and shape of room it's impossible to get a holographic image. Image is ok and separation is good but no 3d depth. |
Video/HT System: Separate
Comments on HT System: | Same as main but strictly two channel. |
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: | Golf, Horseracing, diy electronics. |
