Amplifier:	DIY Mauro Penasa design "MyRef" Rev FE monoblocks for mids and highs. I have yet to hear a better amp for less than $3k, including tubes. Aiyima A07 Max monoblocks for bass.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE with Stage 2 upgrades
Speakers:	4 way: Homemade passively crossed mids/tweets, actively crossed to homemade bass bins ($1200 total of ten SB Acoustics, Vifa, and Satori drivers). Active xovers designed by Nelson Pass. Homebrew 6 cu ft sealed sub with Madisound 1259 driver and 500W plate amp.

Tweaks:	Jantzen Alumen Z, Clarity Cap PUR caps, Vishay naked Z-foil resistors.

Room Comments/Treatments:	Real Traps bass trap at junction of ceiling/walls behind each speaker, carpeted floor, stuffed furniture.

Music Used (Genre/Selections):	classical (80%), rock and pop (15%), jazz (5%)
System Goals/Comments:	The usual: 3D inner clarity (call it air) with sweet midrange and smooth treble and accurate deep bass.
System Strengths:	I, or anyone else, can make amplifiers, speakers, and cables that sound as good as or better than much of what can be bought for ten times the money.
System Weaknesses:	Failing hearing. Room distorts imaging, but near field is holographic.
