Amplifier:	DIY Mauro Penasa design "MyRef" Rev FE monoblocks with integral passive line level xovers for mids and highs. I have yet to hear a better amp for less than $3k, including tubes. Yamaha P2500S with active xover for bass. It's a better amp than you might expect.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE with Stage 2 upgrades
Speakers:	4 way: Homemade mids/tweets PLLXO/actively crossed to homemade bass bins ($900 total of ten Peerless, Vifa, and Satori drivers). Homebrew 6 cu ft sealed sub with Madisound 1259 driver and 500W plate amp.

Speaker Cables/Interconnects:	IC's and speaker cables are homemade using OCC solid core copper/teflon with Vampire connectors. SACD to preamp balanced IC is VH Audio UniCrystal Silver/Airlok.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.):	Homemade rack with inert base and high mass loading, thick wooden shelves. Homemade power cords with Furutech connectors. Homemade granite/wood CLD amp stands.
Tweaks:	Jupiter copper foil/beeswax, Mundorf SIO, Audyn True Copper, Jantzen Alumen Z, Sonicap, Clarity Cap, and Black Gate caps. SparkoS Labs discrete opamps, Vishay naked Z-foil resistors. I do my best to keep the parts houses in business.

Room Comments/Treatments:	Real Traps bass trap at junction of ceiling/walls behind each speaker, carpeted floor, stuffed furniture.

Music Used (Genre/Selections):	classical (80%), rock and pop (15%), jazz (5%)
System Goals/Comments:	The usual: 3D inner clarity (call it air) with sweet midrange and smooth treble and accurate deep bass.
System Strengths:	I, or anyone else, can make amplifiers, speakers, and cables that sound as good as or better than most of what can be bought for ten times the money.
System Weaknesses:	Failing hearing. Room distorts imaging, but near field is holographic.
