System Goals/Comments:	musical system with good imaging and dynamics smooth and listenable for long periods. most problems now sorted. upgrading from quad 63s to 2805s was also very worthwhile. The 2805s are an improvement in every way. Better dynamics, better imaging, better low level detail, more controlled and deeper bass, more extended treble. The veritas power amp tended to throw sound at you and the mid is a little weak and recessed. This was shown up even more when I changed to Quad 2805s. The leema hydra is an considerable improvement in musicality. The van den hul frists and seconds worked far better than the townshend isolda - which wher too bright. The cardas golden reference mains cable offers a less mushy and more controlled sound with deeper bass than the true colours boa constrictor.
System Strengths:	dynamic, detailed, unstrained, musical
System Weaknesses:	The room. too small for Quad 2805s, wrong shape (almost square) not symmetrical means more bass on right hand side than left hand side. on switch on leema hydra pulls so muh current the ps audio p500 goes into protect for about half a second crashing my dcs 905 adc. So I have had to connect the lemma to the p500s filtered output. Result slight loss of bass depth and articulation.
