Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Mostly indie rock and jazz. Current favorites: Architecture in Helsinki, The New Pornographers, The Go! Team, Will Oldham, Sufjan Stevens, The Magnetic Fields, The Radar Brothers, Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Elliott Smith, Cecil Taylor, Evan Parker, Belle & Sebastian, Anthony Braxton, and John Fahey.
System Goals/Comments: The goal is to keep the system as simple as possible (CDP, integrated amp, turntable, phono stage), and to buy used.
System Strengths: Simple, soulful, detailed, warm.
System Weaknesses: Sounds strident on certain CDs. Bass is deep, but can sound wooly also on certain recordings.
