Amplifier: Quad 306
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Quad 33
Speakers: Model 3 Audiospheres
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Harmon Kardon HD800
Turntable/Phono Stage: Harmon Kardon Rabco ST-7 Linear Tracking
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Nondescript
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Eclectic. Mozart to Moby, Christine Lavin to Christina Aguilera, Jarre to Jerry Lee, Kenton to Clapton, Pearl Fishers to Pearl Jam, Tom Lehrer to Tom Waits...
System Goals/Comments: None
System Strengths: Sounds good to me! Audiospheres are architecturally interesting and always a talking point (if tending to invite ridicule)
System Weaknesses: Old. But then so am I!
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: 16yo Toshiba 68cm. BUT I'm upgrading to plasma soon!
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Sound runs of the Quad amp/preamp above.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): A pair of Sanyo SX-SF5 speakers either side of TV (the box's internal speakers gace up years ago)
Sources (DVD/VCR): Philips DVP3005K dvd
Other HT Gear: Philips VR888/R vcr
Comments on HT System: Rubbish! But, as I say, I'm upgrading soon.
