To Experience the True Possibility of 16bit/44.1kHz Format

Non-Oversampling, Digital-filterless DAC

Non-Oversampling DAC concept was first proposed by Ryohei Kusunoki in late 1966. In recent interview, he states that 'the issue is not either it is Non-Oversampling or Higher-rate-sampling, but the use of the digital filter can cause smearing in the time domain.' We can confirm this smearing effect on the sound caused by the use of digital filter rather easily through listening experiments. This leads us to believe that the current problem with CD is not the limitation of 16bit/44.1kHz format, but the use of the digital filter which is preventing us to experience the true possibilities and the limitations of 16bit/44.1kHz format. The sound of Progression is enough to prove this matter

System Goals/Comments: looking for midrange, with excellent detail and articulation.
System Strengths: Dussun V6i:fast with lots of air lots of real POWER, can drive most of the speaker in this world !sound is very neutral hard to find any color either on voice or music ....its very very imp to choose the right music source (CD/LP) & interconnect which depends on individual liking & disliking !! I choose Cardas Quadlink interconnect over VDH Golden Jubilee coz of more open sound stage without making the sound thin !! never gets hot even after 400-500 hrs of nonstop music.....(i call it MAGIC POWER HOUSE)

CD 16B :good analogue is its effortless sense of musical flow, this player is un-digital in the best sense.I Love to listen to vocals like Norah jones, crystal gayle,Ella fitzgerald,Toni braxton,Tracy chapman,Sarah mclachlan, Eva cassidy,Diana krall, Nat king,Michael franks,George benson,Leonard cohen, cliff richards....it sounds superb there is some organic flow in it which is addictive than seductive.

System Weaknesses: sound is forward, for some ppl : on your face type ! makes sound a little thin ! but it depends more on the music source CDP/LP...! need to burn 500-600 hrs to get real sound!
