| Amplifier: | Audio Research Corporation Model 300.2 Stereo Power Amplifier. POWER OUTPUT: 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, (500 watts per channel into 4 ohms,) both channels driven, 1% THD. POWER BANDWIDTH: (-3dB points) 5Hz to 30kHz into 8 ohms, or 4 ohms. FREQUENCY RESPONSE: (-3dB points at 1W) 5Hz to 120kHz. OUTPUT POLARITY: Non-inverting from single-ended inputs. Balanced pin 2+ (IEC-268). OUTPUT CURRENT: 25 amps peak at protective shutdown. POWER SUPPLY CAPACITANCE: 136,000 uF total.

| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Aesthetix Audio Corporation Calypso vacuum-tube line stage. Dual-mono circuit boards. Tube Complement: (2) Sovtek 12AX7LPS, (2) Sovtek 6922 twin triodes. Fully balanced differential circuitry with ability to internally balance a single ended input signal. Two separate transformers, one for the high current, low voltage vacuum tube heater supplies and the other for low current high voltage, solid state and control circuitry. Choke input power supply on the high voltage transformer. All vacuum tube heaters are DC regulated. Inputs: 5 line RCA or XLR (balanced), plus 1 tape, RCA or XLR. Outputs: 2 RCA (SE) and XLR (balanced), 1 tape RCA. Line level gain: 23 dB single ended (SE), in/out, and 29 dB balanced/out. Volume control: switched resistor network volume control with 88 1 dB steps. Front panel controls: main input, tape input select, volume, balance, phase, mute, display, and bypass. Remote controls: main input, tape input select, volume, balance, phase, mute, display, bypass and standby. Frequency response: +- 0.25 dB, 20 Hz – 20 Khz. Signal to noise: measured at 70 dB minimum, A-weighted (ref 1 mv input, 75 dB gain setting). |
