Room Size (LxWxH): 36ft x 16ft x 9ft
Room Comments/Treatments: All wood floors and glass down one length of the room has meant the need for curtains on the windows and a large rug in front of the speakers.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, jazz, pop, rock
System Goals/Comments: I want the system to portray the music accurately, not soften it up or add a warm glow. Transparency and macro dynamics are more important to me than imaging and micro dynamics.
System Strengths: Combination works well together. Speakers are superb. Bass is fast and accurate to the level it goes. Midrange and treble very transparent.
System Weaknesses: Bass could reach deeper. Amplifier a little ouclassed by the speakers.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Just had our first baby, a boy, Alexander last Friday, so I'll be lucky to keep in this hobby let alone any others for the next little while. If I get the chance I enjoy playing golf and travelling.
