Amplifier:	Audio Mirror 6C33C 45W set mono blocks for the winter. Hypex N Core NC400 Monoblock Amplifiers. 200w/ch. - My summertime amps. Larry Moore 300B set. Linear, extended & the mid range magic. Using EML 300B-XLS, which gives me 13W/ch. Love this amp but not powerful enough for the Ascendo in everyday use. But does a fine job with jazz and other lighter fare.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Aesthetix Calypso Stereo Knight transformer based Passive. Graham Amp 2 SE phono.
Speakers:	Ascendo C8 Renaissance Altec Model 9

CD Player/DAC:	PS Audio DirectStream DAC w/ Bridge II. AMR CD-77 - this is an extremely life like player, refined, natural & extended. As good as they say & an excellent usb DAC for hard drive files & online radio.
Turntable/Phono Stage:	Thorens TD 160, w/ upgraded headshell wire & new RCA jacks. Sumiko Pearl Cartridge.
Other Source(s):	Sony SCD 333es, Decent 5 play that is occasionally used for background music that doubles as an ok SACD player. Meridian DAC

System Strengths:	Very life like, certainly the best I've had with the AM 45w. Love the AMR CD-77 and it's analogue quality. The Ulta Fi amp & the Audio Mirror amps plays way beyond their price point. Live in the room; w/ acoustic, jazz, folk, vocalist's, baroque & chamber. More than acceptable with Rock & Orchestral.
System Weaknesses:	If anything, could use more power for the Ascendo C8 for large scale classical, but the AM 45w are a very good with most music. The Hypex N-Core at 200w/ch is more than enough to power the Ascendo but can't help but wonder what NAT, Lamm PP, Tenor OTL, or Behold could do for these speakers
