Music Preferences and Comments: | |
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | 60's 70's rock/prog/phsyc/soul,country & Miles Davis, some but not much modern rock/trip-hop/alt country |
System Goals/Comments: | Spend more time with it. |
System Strengths: | Just fantastic, Again swapping the Leak Varislope pre amp to the NVA completely opened it up. Highs, mids and bass all benefitted. 3D soundstage on the right recordings. Close your eyes and you are in the same room as the band. ... just perfect. The DAC was a bigger improvement to the Yamaha than to the Alpha 7 and for £100 is cheaper than any mods/conversions and has to be recommended. I have no affiliation with any of these companies. |
System Weaknesses: | Probably the Rega. I love it but would prefer to exchange it for my spare LP12 with a rega RB300 arm. However, I need a decent wall shelf for the TT and maybe CD and amps. If anyone has any recommendation ... |
