Amplifier: McIntosh 225 25 Watts per Channel (50 in Mono Mode)
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): NAD 1700
Speakers: 2 Tannoy Mercury MX4s
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: None
Turntable/Phono Stage: Thorens TD 124 MKII with SME 3012 and Denon 103R
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Phillips 16 Gauge
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, Symphonic (Strings), Blues, Operatic
System Goals/Comments: Eventually will be a full tube Hi-Fi system
System Strengths: Amplifier - Best thing I have ever heard - all original Macintosh labeled tubes
System Weaknesses: Some vertical platter motion under the stylus due to a very slight bend in the spindle (I assume the platter and spindle were once dropped) No perceived sonic deficit.

NAD preamp is a solid state unit, but a necessary evil to run the MC cartridge
Video/HT System: None
