Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classical, Opera, 20th century modern music, Jazz, traditional Japanese music, Gamelan, Ragas and other non-western classical music |
System Goals/Comments: | Natural rendering of human voice and instrumental timbre; Deep but, more importantly, transparent and uncolored bass; Wide and deep soundstage, with good instrument separation |
System Strengths: | I feel that my goals are well achieved, it took twenty years or so to get there... |
System Weaknesses: | on the loudest passages in piano music, the SPU tends to mistrack somewhat |
