Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classic/Alt Rock, Jazz, Classical (mostly small ensemble and Glenn Gould) & some Trance/Dance
System Goals/Comments: No more upgrades! That's my goal.
System Strengths: The system and room interact very well together, creating an expressive, almost tangible quality to my listening sessions. It also achieves wonderful imaging, nice soundstage width/depth, excellent clarity and detail, with killer dynamics.
In-room SPL measurements show a very respectable, near-flat frequency response (majority within +/-10dB of one another, the widest gap occurring mostly at extremes)
System Weaknesses: Narrow 65-ish Hz dip (mode) that needs addressing. No room treatments to date, but I foresee GIK Acoustics in my future.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Writing; baseball; playing with my two sons; general music
