System Strengths: | Very warm and rich sound. Good bass. Amp plays 2/3 triode or pentode in push-pull -- just flip a switch. I like the sweetness of 2/3 triode. |
System Weaknesses: | Initially was not as detailed as I'd like and was a noisy amp. However, I blew out the transformer by accident, and had a Kimber transformer put in with audiophile grade capacitors, and it is no longer noisy. Lost some sweetness though, but has much more detail. Quite good now. |
