Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Popular, alternative, rock, country, jazz, classical
System Goals/Comments: Mellow CD Playback.
System Strengths: Very warm and rich sound. Good bass. Amp plays 2/3 triode or pentode in push-pull -- just flip a switch. I like the sweetness of 2/3 triode.
System Weaknesses: Initially was not as detailed as I'd like and was a noisy amp. However, I blew out the transformer by accident, and had a Kimber transformer put in with audiophile grade capacitors, and it is no longer noisy. Lost some sweetness though, but has much more detail. Quite good now.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Interests: Chess. Cars.
