Tweaks: Levys MSS3 strap for FG-180
Levys MSSC8 strap for SA-2200
SKB 18 hsc for FG
Yamaha doesn't sell a case for the SA in Canada so I still looking for a good hsc.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): If I could begin to sound like Chet Atkins would be my dream!
System Goals/Comments: I am looking to upgrade the amp but I am not a big fan of tubes so the hunt continues
System Strengths: FG is like an old friend
SA (or 'Gwendolin' as she is called) is smooth and sophisticated (how I'd like to be able to play!) but can get down and 'durty' with the best of them!
Those awesome JBL drivers and the beautiful custom cab. by Trutone that helps them sing! BTW if you ever need a cab. call up Rob at TruTone! He is a true southern gentleman (Louisiana don't 'cha know) and I can't recommend him highly enough!
System Weaknesses: current amp is nice on the clean channel but it would be nice to have more tone flexibility without having to have a ridiculous number of pedal boxes, so a good modelling amp is in the future!
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Reading, movies (HT system info to come!). My much loved guitars (I'm not great but I like to plink away.
I am restoring a 28 year old motorcycle.
Currently I am doing some consulting for sound and HT systems.
