Room Comments/Treatments: | I set this HT up in the basement of a 100+ yr old house, I'm planning on installing a drop ceiling by putting foam panals between the joists, resting on supports on the bottom of each joist, 744 squar feet of ceiling-building material cost $200.00, reckon I can screw it up three times b/4 I approach the contractors bill |
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | If it's twangy, it's good. See www.twangfest.com |
System Goals/Comments: | I would like eventually to have my entire home wired for sound (100+ yrs old) |
System Strengths: | Lots of speakers, lots of options. Infinite possibilities for remodeling to optimal space |
System Weaknesses: | Can't take a bullit through the head. And I suppose it just hasn't cost me enough to be taken seriously here in the Assylum! |
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: | Toshiba |
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: | Denon AVR 3200, NAD for outback, Harmon Karden for upstairs |
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): | NHT SuperZeros, SW2Pi |
Sources (DVD/VCR): | Toshiba both |
Comments on HT System: | Wish I had a bigger TV, though I did build my own entertainment system. Suspended from the basement ceiling, and adding a larger TV would require significant ripping and rebuilding. |
